Description

The Shinwa 10″ Sliding Bevel Gauge features a rear locking screw that extends from the base of the handle where it remains out of the way but allows for quick and easy securement of the blade. When taking measurements or transferring angles, the position of the locking mechanism makes it possible to lay the bevel flat on either side, making it a favorite of boatbuilders and architectural woodworkers. The blade is stainless steel with milled (not stamped) sides, and the handle or base is anodized aluminum.
