The Sharpal 169H DualGrit Diamond Sharpening Stone is built for aggressive edge repair followed by controlled refinement on a single stone. Its 3″ x 8″ format provides enough length and width to handle a wide range of knives and woodworking tools while maintaining consistent contact during sharpening.

The extra-coarse 220-grit diamond surface removes heavy damage quickly, making it effective for restoring chipped or severely dulled edges. Flipping the stone reveals the 600-grit fine surface, which smooths scratch patterns and improves cutting performance without jumping straight to polishing grits. This progression supports faster recovery while keeping edge geometry under control.

MirrorFlat technology holds the stone to a precisionground flatness of 0.002 inch, helping ensure even abrasion across the edge and reducing the risk of rounding. The included Angle Pyramid guide provides four reference angles, supporting repeatable sharpening results without guesswork. The stone is designed for dry use or with honing oil only. Water should not be used.
